BAYGL, Beth Avodah Youth Group League, gives our Temple youth community in grades 3-12 the
opportunity to participate in programming of all kinds and create long lasting friendships
with other Jewish youth. From playing laser tag with friends to having engaging conversations
to participating in a spiritual Havdallah service, BAYGL youth develop their personal identities,
create meaningful friendships, and become a part of a strong community. We have three grade-based youth groups: Mini, Junior, & Senior BAYGL. Senior BAYGL is part of NFTY-Northeast. BAYGL has a long history of wonderful events and programs. Our annual fundraiser BAYGL's bagels raises close to $3000 every year through delivery of bagels to the entire congregation. Our final event of the year, Shopping Sweep, is a wonderful social action and fun event in which we buy food for a food bank with our proceeds from the Purim Carnival. BAYGL is a leader in our congregation and in the NFTY region through our numerous Conclavettes over the past several years. |
