Leadership

BAYGL offers many opportunities for leadership development for people in grades 9-12 with varying levels of commitment.

BAYGL Board: 
Members of the BAYGL board meet together twice a month to plan social events, services, and social action opportunities.  Individuals apply for positions on the board and are nominated by a committee then elected by the BAYGL membership. 

Positions on board include: 
President
Communications VP
Temple Relations VP
Programming VP
Events VP
Religious & Cultural VP
Social Action VP
Specialty VPs (including VP of Cuisine and VP of Technology)
NFTY Representative
Freshmen Representative
Freshmen Secretary
Events Committee: 
Members of the events committee attend meetings approximately once a month to help brainstorm events and ideas for BAYGL.  This is voluntary committee and can be joined throughout the year.

Jr./Mini BAYGL Assistants:  
These individuals assist at Jr./Mini BAYGL events by attending events and helping publicize the events.  To volunteer for this position, you should contact Becky.

Vision Committee: 
Members of the vision committee are chosen in the spring for the following year. This group meets once a month to discuss the future of BAYGL, youth programming at TBA, and Jewish youth in general.
